Salutations all! My name is Chelsa Ayers, I am studying Political Science, I am a junior this year, and I’ll be the one running around, pretending that I know what I am doing! As a UW Leader during my first year, a Mentor my second year, and now serving as your UWL Director, to say that I am interested in leadership development would be a bittttttt of an understatement. I am involved in most of the entities in ASUW in one way or another, but my heart lies in ASUW Ambassadors, the Husky Leadership Initiative, the Office of Governmental Relations, the Office of Volunteer Opportunities, and of course the greater ASUW. I have dreamt of filling this position since my very first interview as a Leader, and to be here with you all now, serving as your Director is an unbelievable blessing and also a massive adrenaline surge. I am most excited to learn all the in’s and out’s of everyone in the program this coming year, and to facilitate a program that challenges us all to expand our horizons, push their personal limits, and impact each other and our respective communities with a genuine passion that is nearly unmatchable. I can’t wait to get this party started, and I look forward to putting all my effort into this beautiful conglomerative to make it unshakable and the best experience for each and every Leader. Also, the Pack Forrest dance parties and spontaneous thai trips. Stoked for all of that.
