Leadership Practice:
My main leadership practice is a “symposium” – style event where current research topics in the field of neurobiology are discussed and the status of the field in general is exposed to students. The idea stems from a TED esque premise where the topic of discussion is neuroscience. The project is still in its planning stages with the hopes of holding the first event during Fall 2013. Hopefully I will be collaborating with faculty and students within the neurobiology department, and students involved with Mental Health Awareness Week as well as my fellow UW Leaders.
