Jeffrey McNerney
Hello all! I’m Jeffrey McNerney, and I’m a senior pursuing a double major in Biology and Economics. I spent my formative years on the other side of the lake in Sammamish and Redmond, so my love for UW runs deep and long. Most of my involvement on campus has revolved around student leadership and policy/advocacy work. I’ve been a Student Senate committee chair, served on the executive board for the Residence Community Student Association (RCSA), and was elected onto the ASUW Board of Directors as Director of University Affairs for last year. Along the way I’ve wandered through a lot of hallways throughout campus, so if it has to do with ASUW, leadership, or the University at large, there’s a decent chance I’ve heard of it or know of someone who has. I was in UW Leaders as a freshman, and am excited beyond words to have an opportunity to participate again as a mentor! After our Wednesday meetings, you can find me playing cribbage, drinking tea, attending concerts, or working on a crossword puzzle, so if you too are working to become an old person mentally without waiting for the inexorable march of time to do it physically, you’re always welcome to join!
