2015-2016 Mentor Elizabeth McKeen

Hey! I’m Elizabeth McKeen and I am so pleased to be returning as a mentor after a great year as a sophomore leader. I’m majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences and minoring in Global Health.  I have enjoyed my time at UW in the Speech and Hearing Science’s Aphasia Lab Clinic, volunteering with APEX program for children with Autism, campaigning in ASUW elections, and mentoring students as a TA. This year I also have the privilege to serve as a President to NSSLHA, the national student organization of Speech and Hearing Sciences, as well as hoping to continue my research and mentorship within the speech program. I am so excited to be a mentor this year and hope that we can bond over cooking, cooking pie, coffee, shopping for candles at TJ Maxx and watching all of my favorite Nicholas Cage movies.  Welcome to the program loves can’t wait to feed yah!
