Community Service Projects

UW Leaders engages with different community service events around the greater Seattle area. These various projects are open to everyone at UW! Traditionally, UW Leaders forms a Relay for Life team and camps out in Husky Stadium to raise money and awareness about cancer for the American Cancer Society. UW Leaders has also partnered with Green Seattle to clear the Burke-Gilman trail, partnered with the Carlson Center to clean the University Heights for Martin Luther King Day of Service, and beautifying weed-heavy areas of Golden Gardens park. Several of our Leaders will also put on community service projects for their leadership practice, many of which are advertised around campus and published on our Facebook page. So even if you are unable to be a Leader or Mentor with us this year, always feel free to come volunteer with us during community service days!
