Hello all! My name is Makayla Kinsella and I am a senior majoring in English and minoring in French. I joined this program as a sophomore still trying to find my niche at the UW and now I’m returning during my last year to be a mentor to some incredible leaders. Outside of UW Leaders I currently work as the Office of Volunteer Opportunities Director for the ASUW. I’m also a writer and the Special Sections Editor for The Daily. And this year I’ve had the privilege of being a returning FIG Leader and getting to partake in the English Honors Program. I enjoy every moment of my involvement at the UW, but when I’m not living in The Daily’s newsroom I’m an avid hiker, love reading Margaret Atwood novels, spend a lot of time dancing to Walk the Moon, and watch way too much Cutthroat Kitchen. If you ever want to talk about some old school literature, the direction NASA’s space program is headed in, or hear some fun facts about sea otters hit me up.
