Hi there! My name is Megan Yuasa and I’m a senior majoring in Physiology and minoring in Education, Learning and Society. If I survive the pre-med regimen, I hope to attend medical school and eventually get into academic medicine! Yay! Currently, I am the President of Alpha Epsilon Delta (the pre-medical honor society on campus) and I am a research assistant at Seattle Children’s Center for Immunity and Immunotherapies. When I have the time, I volunteer in the ER at Harborview and teach golf to little kiddos! Other programs I’ve been a part of include: Healthcare Alternative Spring Break as a team site leader, ASUW Student Health Consortium, UW Golf Club, and the Pipeline Project (peer tutoring). Out of those cool things, UWL still feels like my home. It is very rare to find another opportunity to connect with such diverse leaders on campus! I hope you all take advantage of it.
