Leadership Practice: Creating a pipeline for low-income students in Seattle, National Pre-Medical Representative for Washington State, Public Relations Officer for Minority Association of Pre-Health Students, create a STEM Pipeline.
My leadership practice was becoming the Public Affairs Officer for MAPS, as well as the UW’s National Pre-Medical Representative for WA. These positions have opened up the opportunity to begin creating a pipeline for middle and high school students interested in the STEM fields to reach their full academic potential through empowerment and mentorship. I am doing this to make a positive difference in the Seattle community.
