During a Leader’s time in the program, they will be responsible for putting together a Leadership Practice. Essentially, this is a presentation about any leadership-related endeavor the Leader dedicated time to during the program. Leadership Practices can be almost anything, including: getting a job or internship, starting a club or organization, engaging with community service, or putting on an event. This year our Leaders will have the opportunity to present their work to campus leaders from departments across UW, staff, faculty, undergraduate and graduated students, and representatives from the greater-Seattle community at the annual Spring Celebration of Service and Leadership on Wednesday, May 20th, 2014. This will act as the UW Leaders Leadership Showcase, one of the best ways to demonstrate our culminating efforts for on and off-campus involvement. We are excited to present this opportunity to first, second, and transfer third-year students as part of the program for the very first time this year.
