Hello wonderful Huskies! My name is Kanokbhorn Saha, but I go by KK…way easier. I am extremely excited to be a mentor in the UWL program. It is my very first year being part of this program, but I have heard numerous wonderful things about it and that is why I decided to join. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and learning about your passion in wanting to be involved and becoming a great leader on and off campus. I am a junior studying Political Science and I am an international student from Bangkok, Thailand. I don’t have an exact answer to why I chose Seattle and UW, but I feel that I fell into the right place because I love it and I’m proud to be a Husky. Besides UWL, I am also involved with many other ASUW things. I work as a Legislative Programming Coordinator for ASUW Office of Government Relations. In addition, I am a member and a committee chair in the Student Senate, a member of the UPASS Advisory Committee, and also an ASUW representative on the University Bookstore Board of Trustees. I usually find myself having a second major, and that is ASUW. Even though I put long hours into ASUW, I enjoy every minute of it.Outside of all the educational/professional life, I love to hang out with all my friends and family and trying out new things around Seattle. I cannot live without swimming, but I also try to stay out of the pool and take up running once in a while. I enjoy shopping (way too much) and I think I am addicted to mint dark chocolate M&Ms.
