Chelsa Ayers
Hi there! My name is Chelsa Ayers, I am double majoring in Political Science and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies, I am a senior this year, and this is my 3rd year as a Mentor in our beloved UW Leaders! As a UW Leader during my first year, a Mentor my second year, the UWL Director my third year, and a Mentor once again to round out my senior year; to say that I am interested in leadership development would be a bittttttt of an understatement. I have been involved in most of the entities in ASUW in one way or another, and my positions have ranged from the ASUW Ambassadors Program Coordinator, to a four-year member of the Husky Leadership Initiative steering committee, to the HUB Alumni Intern, to the Student Affairs Assistant in the Division of Student Life. UW Leaders has been my Alpha and Omega here at the UW from the moment I stepped foot on campus and will be until the instant in which I conclude my very last exam, and I am so grateful to be a part of this year’s spectacular Mentor crew. I am thrilled to explore the complexities of all the new Leaders in the program this year, create lasting memories that will be the fabric of our 14′-15′ academic year, and to help facilitate a program that challenges us to impact our communities with genuine passion. I can’t wait to meet you all, to fall in love with this year’s UWL family, and to dance the night away at Pack Forest. Cheers!
