Roy Taylor
Hey everyone! I’m Roy Taylor, and I’m a junior in the Physics and Political Science departments here at the UW. In my free time, I serve as the Chair of the Academic and Administrative Affairs Committee in Senate, as a member of the Provost Advisory Committee for Students, as an executive editor for the Washington Undergraduate Law Review, and of course as a Mentor in the ASUW’s wonderful UW Leaders program! In my professional and academic life I work as a research assistant for a plasma physics lab here on Campus (woo University of Washington research opportunities!) and hope to pursue studies of aeronautical engineering or space policy after I graduate (yay for having to make big life decisions!) I’m new to the UW Leaders program, but have tried to keep apace with Student-run and oriented programming and leadership since my freshman year. I can’t wait to get to know you all, and if anyone has any questions about my areas of experience, I’m more than happy to help pass along my knowledge. Hope to see you guys soon!
