Year: Freshman
Major: Biology (Molecular, Cellular and Developmental)
Hometown: Seattle, WA
Fun Fact: I once found a bill underwater while scuba diving! / I also owned 24 bunnies at one point, along with three dogs and a bird.
Leadership Practice:My passion to serve has allowed me to focus my leadership practice on campus involvement and volunteer opportunities. I help build the bridge that connects people to the ASUW by encouraging students to become more involved in student government elections. As part of the Elections Administration Committee, I am able to provide students with information about election policies and procedures in an engaging manner.
Currently, I serve as the Multi-media intern for the ASUW. Through this internship, I am given the opportunity to further my interests in photography, video editing and graphic design. Under the tutelage of Benny Tran, I document different ASUW events and work with the Office of Communications to create all-campus videos for the student body.
Finally, I aim to extend my leadership practice by applying to become a Freshman Interest Group leader for next autumn quarter, and actively participating in Global Peace Youth Corps. This is a non-profit organization that advocates education, and produces a positive impact across the world through different projects for developing countries.
