Howdy! My name is Cassie McMaster and I am a Junior studying Political Science and International Studies. I began my involvement in UW Leaders as a leader my Freshmen year. I fell in love with the program and the people, returned as a mentor last year, and am very excited to be coming back again as a mentor this year!!

On campus, I am heavily involved in the ASUW and my major. I have been a student senator for the past three years, serving on leadership last year, and have been employed by the ASUW for the past two years. Last year I was the Assistant Director of the Office of Volunteer Opportunities and this year I am thrilled to be returning as the Director. Within my major I co-founded the Political Science Student Organization, a group that strives to connect faculty and students within the Department.

Outside of campus, I love anything and everything history and politics. This past summer, I was fortunate enough to intern for a Senator in Washington DC, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I have an extreme coffee addiction, a love of cheese, and a plethora of bad dance moves I like to bust out whenever possible! Cannot wait to break it down on the dance floor with ya’ll and am looking forward to an amazing year!!
