2015-2016 Mentor Jessie Kresge

Hey Huskies! My name is Jessie and I am a senior majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences. I am from Colorado, attended Clemson University in South Carolina my freshman year, and transferred to UW my sophomore year. What a mouthful! But, needless to say, I am proud to call Seattle home! I was a leader in UWL as a sophomore, and this wonderful program allowed me to find my footing during a very transitional year. From there I discovered the amazing FIG program and am going on my second year as a FIG Leader, now co-teaching with a dear friend I met through UWL.

You can also find me on campus standing on top of various objects while giving tours, conducting some nifty motor control research through the honors program, or cooking delicious dishes with the amazing Student Food Cooperative. In my spare time I like to go on hikes, play/watch sports (golf and football.. enough said), facetime my sisters, decode Taylor Swift albums, and stalk pugs on Instagram. I’m so excited to be back as a mentor and even more excited to get to know each and every one of you! Go Dawgs!
