2015-2016 Mentor Jordan DeSanto

Hello, my fellow Huskies! My name is Jordan DeSanto and I am a professional, Netflix-er, brunch-er, and blindfold karaoke-er. Thanks to the Anthropology Department, I am able to study my passion: people!

Being a leader my freshman year didn’t just teach me about leadership, it encouraged me to BE a leader within my community and around the world. I currently serve underrepresented and/or disadvantaged High School and Middle School students through my job as a Student Ambassador for the Office of Minority Affairs & Diversity, Multicultural Outreach & Recruitment. I do everything from giving tours, to helping students write their college application essays. Also, this past summer I traveled with the Impact Movement to Ghana, West Africa. There, myself and 5 other young black men were able to develop ourselves spiritually, culturally and professionally.
But that’s enough about me! Let’s mob over to Wow Bubble Tea sometime so I can hear more about you! 🙂
