Hey! My name is Natalie; I am a sophomore in the Interdisciplinary Honors Program and majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I am from the least loved part of California (shout out to the Central Valley!) and tend to freak out about any weather conditions that do not involve scorching heat. I was a leader in the UW leaders program during my freshman year and absolutely loved it. I found an amazing community and support group in the people there; I am so stoked to be a mentor this year!
I work in the Odegaard Writing and Research Center as a tutor and volunteer at UWMC. I am actively involved in the Pre-Med community with groups like HCASB and Medlife. I am constantly exploring new ways to engage my love of science and passion for the medical community. In my free time, I enjoy binge-watching Netflix, pretending I can cook the recipes from the Food Network, getting lost, and seeking out the best breakfast joints in Seattle. I cannot wait to meet all the cool leaders that join UWL this year and I am so ready to do some leadership development (aka one of my favorite things!).
