Hi Huskies! My name is Natalie Pearlman and I’m a junior majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I’m a member of the Interdisciplinary Honors Department and am actively involved in research in the Biology Department with cute little fruit flies. I am passionate about rural medicine and finding ways to provide access to preventive care and education in rural America. I love to go backpacking, travel, cook for my friends, and watch classic movies from the 80’s.

I came to the University of Washington all the way from Tracy, California, a place of intense heat and cows. UW is my home away from home mainly because I have been a part of some truly amazing communities. I’ve been a participant in Health care Alternative Spring Break, a writing tutor at Odegaard Writing and Research Center, and a volunteer at UWMC. I love to Peer Facilitate for the Into Bio series whenever it fits in my schedule and am frequently found running late to class. This is my third year being a part of UWL and my second year as a mentor; I’m so stoked for what this year has to offer and to get to know ya’ll! Go Dawgs!
